Senator Barack Obama will on the Mason campus for a rally at the Johnson Center Atrium on Friday, Feb. 2. He should arrive at approximately 1PM. Other invited guests include Senator Jim Webb,Governor Mark Warner, Governor Tim Kaine, and Coach Larranaga and the Men's Basketball Team

I'd like to introduce International Friendship Connection(IFC). I think almost every returning student knows about this. But just some of them went to this program last semester. I think it is really good and easy chance for making American friends.(they give you the chance and place, you just need to say "Hello" to them first.) IFC has meeting every Thursday and each day has different topic.(And free snack!!) And It also has some off-campus activities.

For those who are interested in American movies, which are certainly one of the best movies in the world, let me inform you that you have a Cinema at Johnson Center. In fact, this week there will be one of the best films of 2006 which is "The Departed" (Leonardo Dicaprio, Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon...). SHOWINGS on Thursday February 8 at 6 p.m and 9 p.m. and on Saturday February 10 at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. FREE FOR MASON STUDENTS WITH ID, GENERAL PUBLIC $3. I hope you will enjoy your time, Yann Ketchanga.

I went to see "The Departed" and I can assure you I had a great wonderful time. "The Departed" is an amazing movie, the scene is excellent and you can admire the actors play: Leonardo Dicaprio (he also plays in "Titanic"), Matt Damon (he also plays in "Ocean's Eleven"), and the famous Jack Nicholson. For those who liked movies like "The Godfather" and "Scarface," "The Departed" is the same type of movie. To conclude, the only advice I can give you is: RENT IT!!!

Good recommendation, Yann! "The Departed" just won an Oscar for best movie.
